By joining clubs, you are not only exploring your interests, but you can find valuable support from peers, contribute to your community, and advance your career. Involvement in SF clubs and organizations is also an easy way to score extra honors points.
Don’t miss Club Rush! It’s the perfect opportunity to discover all the student organizations at SF. Clubs will be tabling, advertising, and recruiting new members. Join us at the Oak Grove on the SF Northwest Campus on Monday, September 9, and Tuesday, September 10, from 10 AM to 1 PM to connect with clubs and learn how you can get involved.
Join The Chess Club!
Club Description: This club is an excellent opportunity to make new friends and keep your mind sharp while playing the strategic and elegant game of chess. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, the SF Chess Club offers a welcoming and supportive environment. Enjoy learning chess and participating in fun tournaments with fellow enthusiasts.

Join the Fencing Club!
Club Description: Our club offers college students the chance to explore fencing without the financial burden typically associated with the sport. Fencing provides valuable lessons in patience, sportsmanship, problem-solving, and commitment. The club supplies all necessary equipment and coaching to make the sport accessible to everyone.
Practice & Meeting Info:
Tuesdays: 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at the gym (Building V)
Fridays: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the lyceum (Building E)
Practices focus on skill development, conditioning, flexibility, and fostering a social atmosphere. Post-practice social gatherings at BTW are optional and decided by participants. Active involvement happens primarily at these sessions.
Criteria to join: No prior experience or equipment is required. The SF Fencing Club is open to everyone, including those with physical disabilities; accommodations for parafencing are available. Safety Note: Fencing has a lower injury rate than sports like table tennis. Protective gear is used to ensure safety, and injuries are typically limited to minor bruises or strains.
Join the Student Physician Assistant Resource Club (SPARC)!
Club Description: SPARC (Student Physician Assistant Resource Club) supports students aspiring to healthcare careers by fostering a collaborative environment. While the club focuses on pre-PA students, all those interested in healthcare careers are encouraged to join. Benefits include access to mentorship, shadowing and volunteer opportunities, and application workshops.

Join the Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA)!
Club Description: DECA aims to prepare students for the professional world by focusing on networking, resume building, and skill development. Activities include roleplays, tests, and state competitions, similar to high school DECA. The club enhances public speaking, complex thinking, and interview skills, and seeks to involve business professors as judges for practice sessions.

Join the Ethics Bowl!
Club Description: Ethics Bowl is a team competition built around thoughtful analysis and respectful dialogue concerning some of the most challenging ethical problems facing individuals, communities, and our world today. Participation in Ethics Bowl helps to develop valuable skills in critical thinking, public speaking, and team building. It’s one of SF’s “Academic Teams,” and active participation qualifies students to apply for a SF Board of Trustees Academic Team Scholarship. It also affords opportunities for engaging in lively discussion with your peers, travel to other institutions outside of Florida, and it’s a lot of fun!

Club Description: Brain Bowl (also known as Quiz Bowl) is a fast-paced, buzzer-style competition where teams of four students answer questions on a variety of academic topics. The team practices regularly and competes in tournaments against other colleges. It’s a fantastic way to get involved on campus, make new friends, and enhance academic skills.

The exact schedule and table locations of various SF clubs and organizations will be available during Club Rush. We strongly encourage all students to attend Club Rush and get involved with any groups that interest you.
Club Rush 2024 is a great opportunity to engage with your community and connect with fellow Santa Fe Students! If none of the clubs mentioned above piqued your interest, please don’t get discouraged as there are many other organizations that Santa Fe Offers. If you can’t make it to Club Rush, be sure to check out the Student Club Web Page. In the event that SF doesn’t offer your desired club, consider this an invitation to formulate your own club or organization for yourself and your peers!
