Take Part in the Last Mental Health First Aid Training of the Semester
Want to make a difference? Santa Fe College is offering Adult Mental Health First Aid training—a nationally recognized program that equips you with the skills to support someone in crisis.
Date: Friday, March 7
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Location: SF Northwest Campus (exact location TBA)
In this interactive, in-person training, you'll learn how to recognize signs of anxiety, depression, psychosis, and addiction, and how to offer meaningful support to those in need—whether they’re a friend, classmate, or stranger on campus.
Free certification upon completion
Limited spots available – first come, first served!
Light breakfast & lunch provided

Complete the online form by Tuesday, March 4 to secure your spot. Some pre-coursework is required, and full attendance is necessary for certification.

A debate between candidates will be held Tomorrow, March 5th, at 4pm in WA108. Learn about candidates’ positions on issues that matter to you, then vote and help select a student government that represents your perspective.
Student Volunteers Needed for SF Professional Development Day
1 Honors Point per Volunteer Hour
SF's Professional Development Day, Friday, March 28, and we’re recruiting students to help!
We need students to serve on a panel discussion about the student experience and what the college and SF professors can do to help them succeed. (10:30-11:30 am)
We also need students to help judge faculty posters detailing projects their departments implemented to improve student success and engagement. (1:45-2:30 pm)
Students who help will receive lunch and a gift bag valued at $100.
Interested students should complete the following survey before March 14.
Support Local Artists by Volunteering at SF’s Spring Arts Festival
The 53rd Annual Spring Arts Festival will be held on April 12th & 13th at the Northwest Campus. This is a great opportunity to mingle with the community and see the great work of student artists, local artists, and national/international artists. In addition to the artwork, there’s a great lineup of music and activities.
The Festival is still in need of volunteers. If you are interested in being a part of the Festival please fill out the volunteer signup form at the link below. There is a range of opportunities starting on Friday and running through Sunday.
