This award can be renewed for up to two years of total awarding.
In addition to applying for the James Gregg Honors scholarship, take some time to apply for Foundation scholarships and explore SF’s information on other scholarship opportunities.
Honors Program Office Hours - Summer B
Honors Office Hours for Summer B are above. These are the times each week we plan to be available for student questions and drop-ins. It’s not unusual for me to have meetings during these times, so if you plan to stop by you may want to email ahead of time and let me know so we can be sure to connect. If these don’t work or if you have a pressing question about advising, degree planning, your major, or preparing for transfer, please reach out to one of our fantastic academic advisors.

Academic Opportunities
Interested in Psychology? Check out Abnormal Psychology and Personality Psychology with Professor Barbeau
Abnormal Psychology (CLP2140) is the class where we explore how psychological conditions are diagnosed. In this class we examine the major types of psychological disturbances, terminology in use today, and the diagnostic categories and criteria. General introductions to treatment methods for the various diagnostic categories are also reviewed.
Psychology of Personality (PPE2001) is the class where we explore the theories and therapeutic techniques mental health professionals use to treat psychological conditions. In this class we examine the major approaches to personality theory and psychotherapy including psychoanalytic, neo psychoanalytic, behavioral, biological, humanistic, existential, cognitive, and non-western approaches. Practical applications for the areas of counseling, health professions, business, education, childcare, and personal growth are also reviewed.
Both of these classes are a great way to learn more about people, practice, and the field of psychology. Although neither of these classes is an Honors course, students are encouraged to collaborate with Dr. Barbeau on completing an Honors Contract. To register for CLP2140 or PPE2001, just log in to eSantaFe. For more information about Honors Contracts, please contact the Honors Program Office.

Welcome back SF Students During The First Week of Classes
We will be continuing our tradition of staffing our Welcome Stations from 7:30am – 12:30pm on the first two days of classes, August 19th and 20th, and we’re reaching out to you in search of volunteers to cover shifts! Welcome stations provide a convenient way for new and returning students to quickly ask questions and get assistance at a number of key high-profile areas around campus. Beyond asking for directions, students may not know where to go to resolve an issue with their schedule, pick up an ID, or just grab a cup of coffee, and you can be a friendly face to help make those first few days a little less stressful. Below, please find the link to our sign up form, and feel free to choose a single 1hr. shift, a range of times, or, for the truly committed, a full day! It’s up to you and whatever your busy schedules can accommodate – we appreciate all your help.
