Do you remember what you thought college would be like as a high schooler? How different has your experience been from how you thought it would be? Share your thoughts and wisdom with current high school students by joining SF Achieve at an afterschool tabling event on November 4th from 2pm-4pm at Buchholz High School. Connect with BHS students to foster conversations about what a college career could look like - including how to prepare, what to expect within different areas of study, and how to feel supported throughout their college career. Student workers from the Learning Commons will also be in attendance to talk about academic support through tutoring and peer coaching. Transportation provided if needed!
SF Achieve is a grant-funded program that provides support to Alachua and Bradford County public school students by housing pre-college advisors in all high schools across these districts. Support entails mentorship and scholarship opportunities to help students navigate post-HS planning and decision making.
Please be sure to attend and share your college experience with the next generation of Santa Fe Saints! If you have any questions, concerns, or would like further details, please contact shelby.nagle@sfcollege.edu for assistance. We look forward to seeing you there!
