It’s the end of the semester, which means a relatively short update this time around. Check on some good, final reminders for the term as well as a preview for what’s coming this summer and fall. Thank you, everyone, for all of your hard work this term!
Celebrating the end of the spring!
It’s an exciting time of year, watching the plummeting number of exams and papers you have to grade—I mean have to take—while looking forward to the summer. Before you completely turn off your school break and get out the guns to match the sun, it’s important to make sure that we take care of a few last pieces of business.
Finalize Graduation. If you’re planning to graduate, make sure you’ve got everything wrapped up and ready for commencement and final processing. If you haven’t already, now is a great time to check in with your Academic Advisor and double check that everything is ready for graduation.
Finalize Honors Work. If you’re completing an Honors contract, thesis, or independent-study project, turn in any remaining work and ask your instructor to contact the Honors Office to let us know you’ve finished everything.
Select your Summer and Fall Honors Classes. Especially as grades get finalized, now is a good time to take another look at your schedule and make sure it makes sense. Remember, you need at least one Honors course per term—or an equivalent number of points—the maintain your status in the program. For a list of available courses for spring 2024 , check out our schedule of upcoming courses and then turn in an Honors Registration Request to get these on your schedule.
